„Circle of Friends of TDKET“
On TDKET's 10th birthday the "Circle of Friends of TDKET" was founded.
The "Circle of Friends of TDKET" is pleased to have two extraordinary personalities as patrons: Dr. Manfred Lautenschläger and Haile Gebreselassie.

RNF Ethiopia report wins State Media Prize 2011
In November 2010 Norbert Lange, a RNF editor, accompanied a delegation from the Racket Center Nußloch to Addis Ababa. For his report " Tennis Children from Ethiopia" he received the State Media Award for this category (2011).
2010
TDKET receives NGO certificate
In 2010, the TDKET project received the non-governmental organisation (NGO) certificate. TDKET is now officially a non-governmental organisation and is therefore allowed to receive donations.
The official name of the project is Tariku and Desta Kids' Education through Tennis Development Ethiopia (TDKET).
